[Help] LAGG IN DOTA !!

Hello all ,

I'm New in UAE

now in Abu dhabi

Just want some help in fixing my lag : (

I just took the 512 Plan of etisalat ( Wireless Connection coz cable is not available )

well my problem is that ....

i can play dota smoothly while other lan connections are turned off

if my brother turns on his lap..i gets huge lag and delay in game

someone help me out : (

i always turn off all apps while playing dota : (

Dude, im 256 kb/s and i never lag or smooth, its from Etisalat too
But i think cuze your using a wireless you might feel lagging some times or smooth..
Cable is mush better
But belive me, i get lag when one of my brothers is online from hes PC and downloading, even if hes not downloading, hes just searching in google i do lag or delay
So my advise is to play in the Arabin rooms cuze its the closets server for you, and try to join hosts from AE to avoid lagging and delaying staff

Ok but, i wana ask is it just lagging when your in Garena, or even if Garena is closed and your just openning pages its kinda slow

If your net is slow in general, go and download any file from the internet and look at your Transfer rate, with 512 your transfer rate must be between 50 to 60 kb/s
So if its below that just call 101 and their going to fix your problem.

But if your brother is bigger than you, and hes bothring you by keep downloading porn movies and you cant stop him, just download NET CUT program which it can cut hes net off from your PC or lap any time you want xD Belive it works
Oh and by the way, make sure your wireless is with a password, so no one use it from out the house.
If you want to know who is using your net now, go to RUN type CMD then type net view, it gona show you every one using your net by showing the computer name

try to close all apps and make sure no1 is sharing ur net..

ur proplem like my proplem

first..
if ur conection 100000 mb .. and ur brother or father or.... useing net he will take all speed. cuz dota or garena only take 30 - 40- kb only .. so dont try play dota when ur brother useing net >>

i have a solution first and last thats waht i do when my brother use net ^^_^^cuz he download all time >>>

HAHAHA, 7up if you cut down your father cable from modem cuze hes downloading but hes not in the house, and you connect him before he back with 5 mints, he will know, that some one cut hes net off and connect it back cuze he gona see, this message in the right btm of the screen Local Area Connection speed 100.0 Mbps
Which it means some one is having fun when hes not in home So i guess your father is a bit noob to never know that just joking ...
I swear I got 3 brothers and they all pro in using net staff, so actully its like a war here XD I recive like 10 viruses each day in msn and they are using RemoreEveryThing program which is annoying if they patched u cuze it gona take time till you find the patch file ....or Cain&Aible

But in Naseeh case he cant cut the cable cuze its wireless
